Hi everyone!! Thanks for visiting our blog! It truly means a lot to us that you are here and taking the time to learn about our cause! INVISIBLE DAY is a chronicle of our lives with POTS/Rheumatoid Arthritis, with a mission to raise awareness of these illnesses and all other invisible illnesses that affect millions of people today.

As you will read on our “Meet Nikki” and “Meet DJ” pages, we are both living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. While we struggle daily from our invisible illnesses, we remind ourselves daily that our health is truly a blessing in disguise. We believe with all our hearts that we were given these illnesses for a reason. SO WE COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! Now, we can work our tails off but our cause will get nowhere without you! We need your help to spread the word to your friends and family. Subscribe to our blog so each post will be sent to your email. Tell a friend to subscribe. Follow us on Twitter and on Facebook. We have some really great things in store and would love to have your support. Please let us know your thoughts and share any ideas you might have!! You can reach both of us at our email invisibledayorg@gmail.com

Our longterm goal is to hold various fundraisers and events that will allow us to not only raise awareness for invisible illnesses but also to raise money with 100% of all donations and proceeds going directly to the research of these life altering illnesses. We have our first event underway in the planning stages and are very excited to share it with all of you!

Whether you are here because you suffer from an invisible illness, know someone with an invisible illness, or just checked us out for sheer curiousity…please subscribe and take this journey with us! If we all come together there is no doubt we will make a difference! If INVISIBLE DAY can touch the life of one person suffering from an invisible illness then our mission will be fulfilled!

Again, thanks for your support! I leave you with something we all must never forget. We can never know what a person is going through simply by looking at them. And those of us living with an invisible illness, all the judgemental looks and words make us feel like those around us literally see right through us…and we instantly become invisible! Make a difference with INVISIBLE DAY!!!!!

Hello, I found you through Twitter and was attracted by the name of your blog. I suffer from about 10 invisible illnesses, including Lupus, Fibro, Chronic Fatigue, Depression and Anxiety. My husband suffers from Crohn’s Diseases and many severe mental illnesses. We have a four year old son.

I hope you will check out my blog too. Maybe we can collaborate one day!

Hope you are as well as can be!

found you on twitter, lets try go international. I am all ears about spreading the word. I have recently created a website in sheer frustration of having an invisible illness that nobody in England wants to hear about.
